Schools out for winter break and I obviusly need to do a better job of updating this blog. We got our first real snow storm over the past two days and its nice to actually see snow again and not just rain. Kids are doing well. Its nice to have football and cheerleading over and the kids home on the weekends. We are settling in for a nice quiet Christmas at home this year and are looking forward to spending some time together.

Aaron is teaching at Washington State University and I am working for an Assisted Living company in Wilsonville, Oregon. Yes, a new company from the one that moved us out here in the first place! We finally are starting to feel settled in a new location (it only took a year). As always, we love visitors and anyone who feel like coming up and doing some "clamming" on the beach, skiing, or hanging out in the Portland nightlife, come for a visit!

Summertime

Things are going great for the Merino family. We are loving the West Coast summertime and enjoying spending our days out on the boat. Now that school is out, Britney will be traveling to Utah to spend a month with all her Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Noah's bday is coming up...don't forget the presents...Nicolette's bday is coming up...don't forget the cash!!!!

We're playing basketball

Noah had a great time today playing with his basketball team for the first time. He needs to be a little more aggressive, but how do you teach an adorable boy like Noah to get aggressive????

Skiing at Mount Bachelor for New Year's

We decided at the last minute to spend our new year in Mt Bachelor, Oregon. The country's fifth largest ski resort. We spent three days on the slopes and every night in the hot tub. The kids skiied for the first time and had a great time....minus Aaron's bruised ribs from "catching" a speeding Britney from going down a black diamond hill.
